• At CompuVest Corp. discretion we reserve the rights to reject products after inspection (i.e. physical damage or incomplete packaging)
• In the event that physical damage is caused during transit of a return, it is the customers responsibility to contact the carrier to start a damage claim immediately upon receiving CompuVest's notification. The responsibility is between customer and carrier, not Compuvest Corp.
• Compuvest Corp. will only keep physically damaged returns for 10 weeks, after that Compuvest Corp. will dispose of items locally without issuing credit or further notice.
• All International orders which are shipped via USPS and has successfully left United States (as per USPS tracking information) Compuvest Corp. we will not be held responsible for loss or damage of your purchase.

After the order gets shipped, tracking information gets uploaded to Order Tracking page within one business day. You will need to call the carrier with the tracking number and determine the location of your package. Once the carrier picked up the package, travel time is out of our control. If you suspect that the package was lost or delivered to the wrong address, please read "I am missing a part of my order" section to fill out a special form.

"Order In progress" - means that the tracking number is not imported on the web site yet. It usually takes one business day to process an order. The tracking number is posted on the web site the following business day.

Please determine, whether your order has been shipped using the Order Tracking page.

1. If tracking information is available on Order Tracking page, call the carrier with the tracking number and determine the location of your package. Once the carrier picked up the package, travel time is out of our control. If you suspect that the package was lost or delivered to the wrong address, please email our customer service as soon as possible.
2. If tracking information is not available on Order Tracking page, check:
   1. If you allowed at least one business day for CompuVest to process your order
   2. If you allowed another business day for the tracking information to be uploaded on CompuVest web site
   3. If your order was delayed due to billing address not matching with the credit card information (our customer service contacts customers within one business day in those cases)
   4. If your order was delayed due to different billing and shipping addresses, and you did not supply a shipping address to your credit card company
   5. If information provided on the order was incomplete (invalid address, phone number, email address, invalid card number)
   6. If you did not meet order processing and shipping cut-off time (Placed an order on Friday evening by overnight and expected delivery on Monday, or something similar)
   7. If you placed an order during a busy holiday season where in general one day delay is expected
   8. If items are in CompuVest stock

Products with different processing times are sometimes shipped separately based on when they are ready to go. If something is missing from your package, make sure all items in your order were shipped at the same time and in the same package. To do this, check your packing slip or invoice that came with the package.

If you find that an item missing is not listed on the packing slip/invoice, that means that you have received a partial order, and the rest of your order is on the way.

If you find that an item is listed on the packing slip/invoice but is not in the package that you received, do not throw the packaging materials away, as there may be 2 reasons the item is missing:

• The package was damaged and the item was lost in transit (in this case there will be inspection of packaging materials by the carrier and a claim will be filed to reimburse your funds)
• It was accidentally not shipped from the warehouse. If the either of the last two cases apply to you, you will need to fill out this form right away in order for CompuVest to take care of the problem right away.

You can refer to the sample invoice below in order to understand how to fill out the request. Once you click on the button "I am missing a part of my order," your email client will open an email with some fields in the body of the email to fill out.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide this service at this time. This option is only available for local contracted companies. All other orders must be shipped from the warehouse.

Not necessarily. In order to provide the fastest (on time) service we may ship products from different warehouses. Sometimes the products are available in one location, and not another. We try to coordinate the shipments so that our customers get everything on time. There is no effect on customer's shipping charges. This is a part of our customer satisfaction program.

If, for some reason, you need separate orders to be combined, or need all items shipped together, please email our Customer Service.

If you have received your package and for some reason it does not contain an invoice, or you misplaced it, we can provide you with a copy of your invoice upon request. Please refer to the sample picture of an invoice below and then click on the "Send me a copy of the invoice" button to request an invoice. We will send you invoice within 24 hours:

OEM, Bulk, Plain Box products have the following features:

1. No fancy packaging (Plain box product comes in a plain box, OEM or Bulk - in an anti-static wrap.)
2. Accessories may differ (Accessories that usually come with the retail version may or may not be included.)
3. User's manual may differ (User's manual may be abridged or not included. Please use Manufacturer's web site for complete manuals.)
4. Software bundle may differ (Usually those products include drivers, but not include additional software that comes with the retail version of the product.)
5. Technical support from manufacturer may differ (Usually manufacturers do not offer full technical support to end users on these types of products. The cost of technical support that you pay for when purchasing a retail version is not included when you purchase OEM, Bulk or Plain Box version.)
6. Warranty period may differ (Please check the warranty on the item description. If it differs from "normal" manufacturer's warranty, we specify the warranty in the product description.)

Retail

These products you will see on a retail store shelf. Packages include accessories and bundled software advertised by manufacturer. They are intended for an end-user.

Multi-pack

Products are packaged in bulk by 5-100 pieces per box. Multi-pack products usually come with one Manual and one set of Drivers per box, not per item.

Retail Open Box

This is new product in the original packaging but has been opened and possibly used for a short time, usually a demonstration unit. Since these items can not be advertised as Retail product, they are sold as "Open Box". They may not include all accessories that usually come with Retail Packaging.

New Pulls/OEM

Products are New, usually purchased in Bulk by us. This equipment was disassemble from whole new units for reselling. Products do not come with software or instructions unless indicated. Products are inspected by Compuvest technicians to ensure it is fully functional.

Factory Refurbished

Products are Refurbished to the exact manufacturer specifications by the original manufacturer in a certified refurbishing center. Products may be used or unused and have been cleaned, quality checked and tested, they have been serviced if needed by the manufacturer's certified center. Factory Refurbished products can have minor cosmetic blemishes and may or may not come with Manuals, Batteries or Back up Disks, unless indicated.

Refurbished

Products are refurbished by a 3rd part facility, not the original manufacturer. These products may have minor cosmetic blemishes due to normal usage. Products have been tested and generally have never had any defects. Products may or may not come with Manual, Batteries or Back up Disks, unless indicated. Compuvest ensures these products are cleaned to our highest standards.

Reconditioned

These products are required to pass a careful assessment and testing by Compuvest Technicians before they are released to the customer. These products are packaged in their reconditioned form and may include basic accessories such as Cables and/or Batteries, check the item description for detailed list of accessories.

Used Pulls

Products are pulled from a whole used unit for reselling, it is purchased by us in Bulk and may have minor scratches and blemishes. These products do not come with Software or Instructions unless otherwise indicated. Compuvest Technicians have inspected this product to ensure it is fully functional.

"Extra Life" Tapes

100% Guaranteed for life. Only tapes that pass all phases of the process can be sold as "Extra Life". A visual hands-on inspection for mechanical and cosmetic defects is conducted; all labels and barcodes are removed. All data is destroyed using data tape and drive manufacturer approved processes, this insures the security and confidentiality of the data. Tapes are tested to insure their performance with acceptance standards higher then original OEM standards for new tapes. Packaging includes new case, new j-card insert, security seal, shrink-wrap and cardboard sleeve. "Extra Life" tapes will be recognized and treated by the drive the same as blank, new tapes.

Return Policy

1. Customer cannot return any product without the return authorization.
2. The warranty of any item begins from the date of the invoice. The warranty comes from Compuvest unless the item description specifies the manufacturer's warranty.
3. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE!
4. Restocking fee for either non-defective, unused or unopened items returned within two weeks is 15%. After two weeks defective items will be replaced, and not refunded. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
5. No cash refund for all items returned after 14 days from the date of invoice. Store credit is available at current sale price of the returned product. Refund cannot be greater then the original item's price.
6. All refused packages will be accepted back in stock, and credit will be processed within 1 business day for the merchandise less 15% restocking fee and shipping charge. No exceptions.
7. Compuvest DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY.
8. Warranty on all Refurbished items is 45 days (unless specified in product description otherwise). Refurbished products are fully inspected and restored to their original performance, in accordance to manufacturer's specifications. May have some cosmetical blemishes. 13. Compuvest takes no responsibility for the installation of the product and incorrect operation of your system. We will not be liable for any system, component, or peripheral including, but not limited to, mechanical or electronic damage, lost time, lost wage, lost revenue, or any other damage arising out of the use of, or inability to use our products.
14. No warranty for any returned items with its serial number or warranty sticker removed by customer.
15. Any opened software will not be accepted under any circumstances.
16. All Compuvest suppliers provide excellent warranties and they should be contacted directly using the phone number on the product literature. For additional information, take a look at the "Manufacturer Tech Support Index".
17. All accessories must be shipped with the returned item, otherwise the return process will be delayed until the accessories are received by our RMA department under the same RMA number.
18. Typically returns are processed by RMA department of Compuvest within 2 -3 business days from the receipt of the product.
19. Address correction or rerouting of the package by customer is not allowed, as it is an additional charge from the carrier. If the above occurs customer will be billed additional freight fee based on the bill from the carrier.
20. All packaging is bulk unless it states otherwise or specifies the contents (cables, manuals, software, documentation etc).
21. There is no extended warranty on close out or refurbished items.
22. CompuVest cannot guarantee any cancelation, modification of an order or a shipping method via e-mail, if customer was not e-mailed with the e-mail confirmation from CompuVest customer service.

Refurbished, Discounted & Close Out Returns

Discrepancy & Shipping damage

1. Compuvest is not responsible for providing a specific delivery service to receiver's area if it cannot be provided by a designated carrier.
   • PLEASE NOTE: Compuvest.com require that shipping damage is reported within 48 HOURS of the product's delivery.
2. We agree to file any damage claim immediately with its designated shipping carrier.
3. After carrier processes the claim and we receive documentation confirming that the claim is not denied, we can proceed with the refund or sending a replacement (carrier may request a damage evaluation of the original package in order to proceed with the claim). Purchaser can check the status of the claim by calling either to the carrier and providing the tracking number (can be obtained from our web-site) or to CompuVest customer service.

Pricing policy

1. Prices are good within two days from the time of the order.
2. Price are subject to change without notice.

Price changes, Errors, and Omissions:

CompuVest reserves the right to honor or refuse prices within two days from the time of purchase. CompuVest reserves the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements.

CompuVest always strives to make sure that the information presented online is accurate.

1. Sometimes an incorrect product is sent, and there is no time to return it. In order to try to satisfy our customers we offer a discount for the inconvenience if a customer keeps the product. If you still would like to return the product, please fill out the Return Request Form When the product is received by RMA and determined to be in fact misrepresented, CompuVest will refund the full price including original shipping charges. If the item you received is defective please fill out the Return Request form to send it back. There is an option for claiming the item defective in the process of your return request. There is no need to call customer service to do a return request over the phone. If you do, you will be instructed to fill out the return request online.
